Who We Are:

First Presbyterian is an established community partner with its roots being traced to 1802. First Presbyterian is fortunate to have a beautiful facility dating back to 1871 and located in Cumberland's historical district.

Our membership consists of people from varying backgrounds including: medical, legal and academic professionals, government employees, artists, musicians, computer experts, home schooling parents, and active retirees. About half of these members are local natives.

In addition to our Interim Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert Gamble, our staff consists of Director of Christian Music, Judith Brown, who received her Master of Sacred Music Degree from Union Theological Seminary and has had over 25 years of experience, Church Administrator: Kathy Wilhelm, Sexton: John Brown, Sound Technician: Joe Aurigemma, and our Childcare Workers: Jessie Gates and Janie Schlottmann. Welcome to First Presbyterian Church!
