For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
We are all members of one body, each unique in gifts, talents, and passions. But so often we do not see the uniqueness of one another, especially during a time such as this when even normal interaction has decreased. We must; however, remember that our uniqueness does not make us separate from one another. The ear cannot say it is not an eye and therefore not part of the body as Paul continues in this scripture. Likewise, we are all connected by our faith.
To bridge the gaps we will be offering "Faith Journey" interviews . These sit-downs allow us the opportunity to learn more about the people in our church family and for them to share some of their unique wisdom with others.
