“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18: 19-20
We all experience times of difficulty and uncertainty in our lives and as Christians we believe in the power and importance of taking those concerns to the Lord in prayer. At First Presbyterian Church we have a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to praying for the needs of the congregation.
Please note due to Covid restrictions there might not be someone in the office at all times. If nobody answers please leave a message with your name, number, and a short descprition of why you're calling and someone will return your call as soon as they are able. Any request will be sent to our church's prayer chain. If you would like your prayer to be confidential between you and the pastor you may request to speak with the pastor or have the pastor call you at a later time if they are not avaliable.
As we are nearing a year of COVID life we understand, more than ever, that people need prayer. Please know that you have friends at First Presbyterian, Cumberland who want to pray for you.
If you would like to become a part of our prayer chain please contact the church office
